Janotta Runs Into Aces
Level 26
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Will Kassouf raised to 170,000 in middle position with Q♦J♥ and Kohei Arai three-bet to 440,000 on the button. Amadeus Janotta four-bet jammed all in for 1,175,000 from the small blind which got Kassouf to fold and Arai quickly called.
Amadeus Janotta: A♠J♠
Kohei Arai: A♥A♦
The flop came Q♥J♦3♥ and Janotta picked up a pair of jacks but it was still Arai well out front. The 10♣ on the turn provided some chop outs but the 10♦ on the river paired the wrong card for Janotta who was eliminated.
