Nex Incorrectly Hero Folds a Flopped Straight
Sebastian Schulze made it 160,000 to go with K♥3♥ from the cutoff and Vladimir Nex called in the big blind with 7♣6♦.
On the 5♣8♦4♥ board, Nex checked with his flopped straight and Schulze bet 290,000. Nex just called.
A J♥ on the turn improved Schulze to a flush draw, and once it was checked to him, he fired out 720,000. Nex, again just called.
There was no flush for Schulze on the J♣ river, and once it checked to him, he had to decide if he wanted to bluff or not. He took around two minutes before he put together a bet of 3,150,000 and pushed it into the pot.
Nex had 3,500,000 behind and seemed to be giving Schulze a lot of credit for a full house as he debated the decision. The clock was called on Nex as he had taken a lot of time to think it over, and the 30-second countdown was initiated.
With just a few seconds left on the clock, Nex slid his cards into the muck, and Schulze managed to get one through.
