Prokopchuk's Ace Good at Showdown

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Derek Sudell opened K6 from the hijack to 240,000 and Mikhail Prokopchuk defended his big blind with A10.

The flop came 3A7 and after Prokopchuk checked, Sudell fired 320,000. Prokopchuk wasn't going anywhere with his ace and put in the call to see the 6 give Sudell a pair of sixes. The action checked through to the 9 river, which again checked through.

Prokopchuk tabled his pair of aces, and took down the pot.
