Tenorio Pays Off Hesse's Value Bet
Level 28
: Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Stephen Hesse made it 250,000 from middle position and only Alen Tenorio called out of the big blind.
Tenorio check-called a bet of 200,000 from Hesse on the 5♦9♣2♣ flop.
The K♠ rolled off on the turn, causing Tenorio to check. Hesse bet 450,000, which Tenorio called.
Tenorio knuckled the action over to Hesse for the last time when the 7♦ dropped on the river. Hesse fired out roughly a half-pot bet of 900,000, causing Tenorio to go into the tank. After multiple minutes of thinking, Tenorio slammed in the call.
Hesse showed top pair with K♥J♠ to win the pot, as Tenorio mucked 10♣5♣ for just a pair of fives.
