Giorgiy Skhulukhiya opened 8♥8♣ to 240,000 from under the gun and Greg Merson looked down at K♥K♣ on the button and three-bet to 750,000. Skhulukhiya quickly let it go.
In the next hand, Derek Sudell raised to 250,000 from the button with K♠J♠ and Jarod Minghini called in the small blind with J♣9♣.
Both made top pair on the 4♦J♦5♥ flop, where Minghini checked and Sudell threw out 400,000. Minghini called and they watched the 7♠ land on the turn, which checked through.
A 3♠ completed the runout and Minghini led out for 600,000. Sudell didn't need to think for too long before he called and took the pot with his bigger kicker.
