Mizrachi's Monster Hero Call Takes a Chunk Off Buhaiov
Michael Mizrachi raised and was then three-bet to 800,000 by Nazar Buhaiov in the next seat. All other players folded and Mizrachi called before he checked the A♥6♥5♥ flop. Buhaiov fired a first barrel for 425,000 for Mizrachi to call and did so again for 1,700,000 on the 4♥ turn.
Mizrachi block-bet the A♦ river for 400,000 and Buhaiov went deep into the tank, riffling the chips for several minutes. At some point, Mizrachi patted the felt right in front of his table neighbor while waiting for the next move.
Buhaiov then raised it up to 4,700,000 with a double-fisted bet and Mizrachi was sent into the blender. The camera crews were already recording all of the action for what shaped up to be a big pot. It took around two minutes of studying by Mizrachi to make the call and Buhaiov rolled over the K♦Q♣ only.
Mizrachi smashed his 7♥7♣ on the felt before celebrating towards his rail.
"That is such a sick call," Mounir Tajiou said, who had been recording the scene on his phone.
