Ali Takes a Couple of Shots to the Chin

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Muhamet Perati raised to 400,000 in the cutoff and Ihab Ali three-bet to 900,000 from the small blind. Perati called and the flop of J106 hit the felt. Both players checked and the 7 landed on the turn.

Ali checked again and Perati threw in a bet of 900,000. Ali called and the 2 completed the board. Ali checked one more time and Perati slid out a bet of 3,900,000. Ali went into the tank for a couple of minutes but decided to lay his hand down.

On the next hand, Joseph Ozimok opened to 400,000 in early position and Ali called on the button. They went heads-up to a flop of J95 where Ozimok continued with a bet of 325,000. Ali called and the 7 rolled off on the turn.

Ozimok checked this time and Ali counted out a bet of 800,000. Ozimok check-raised to 2,100,000 and Ali stuck around for the 2 on the river. Ozimok used both hands to slide out a bet of 3,200,000 and Ali was forced to fold again.
