Eric Afriat raised to 650,000 on the button and Tony Gregg called from the big blind. The flop came J♦4♥3♠ and Gregg check-called a bet of 450,000 from Afriat.
The turn brought the 10♠ and Gregg checked again. Afriat sized up a bet of 1,500,000 and Gregg stuck around for the 5♠ on the river. Gregg checked for the third time and Afriat gave it some thought but checked it back. Gregg turned over 7♠7♣ and Afriat clenched his teeth as he slowly slid his cards to the muck.
