Dunaway Affirms His Position Behind Hallaert
Level 34
: Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Adam Hendrix 9♦8♦ opened to 1,000,000 in early position and Braxton Dunaway A♥8♥ three-bet to 2,800,000 in middle position. Hendrix called and they went heads-up to a flop of K♥J♠J♥.
Hendrix instantly checked and Dunaway flicked in a bet of 1,500,000. Hendrix sent his cards to the muck and Dunaway raked in the pot.
On the next hand, Kenny Hallaert 7♣5♣ raised to 1,200,000 on the button and was called by John Wasnock 2♠2♣ and Daniel Iachan 6♠3♠ in the blinds. The flop fell Q♥J♦10♠ and the action checked around to the A♥ on the turn.
The blinds checked again and Hallaert took a stab at the pot with a bet of 1,700,000. Wasnock quickly folded and Iachan's cards followed into the muck.
