A Shot of Padron
Level 35
: Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Joey Padron opened to 1,200,000 in middle position with A♣K♣ and Richard Freitas three-bet to 3,000,000 on the button with K♦J♦. Padron just called and the dealer fanned the flop of A♠J♣8♠.
Both players flopped a pair but it was Padron ahead with the better of the two. He checked it over to Freitas who tossed in a bet of 1,200,000. Padron quickly called and the 3♠ landed on the turn.
That slowed the action as both players checked to the 10♥ on the river. Two more checks and Padron turned over the best hand to put another dent in Freitas.
