Pisarenko Takes From Hallaert; Mizrachi From Minghini
Maksim Pisarenko raised it up to 1,800,000 and Kenny Hallaert called on the button. Both blinds folded to make way for the K♦4♦2♥ flop. The continuation-bet was worth 2,000,000, and Hallaert called to see the 2♦ on the turn. Pisarenko opted to check and Hallaert checked it back to the J♥ on the river.
Another check by Pisarenko followed and Hallaert checked it back for the Russian to win the pot with the 9♣9♦ for nines and deuces.
Jarod Minghini then raised to 1,600,000 in early position as action folded to Michael Mizrachi, who announced a raise in the small blind with A♦K♥. Mizrachi put in the 1,600,000 before making it 6,100,000. The floor was called over, and it was ruled that since Mizrachi had only put in the 1,600,000 initially, he was allowed to just min-raise to 2,400,000.
The flop came K♠10♥2♥ and Mizrachi bet 3,300,000 with his pair of kings. Minghini folded 8♥8♣ and Mizrachi took the last pot before the break.
"I don't think that's the right rule," Mizrachi said.
