Seeing the QQ27 turn, Niall Farrell checked from the big blind to Antonios Koukouras on the button. Kouskouras bet 8,000, and Farrell called.

The 2 river completed the board, and Kouskouras sized up to 12,500. Farrell spent some time in the tank, then tossed in a call. Kouskouras tabled Q4 for a full house, and Farrell mucked his cards in defeat.

Neeme Doubles Through Andrada

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Heads-up on a board of J4K3 with a large pot already brewing, Andrew Neeme was under the gun and check-called an 11,500 bet from Ryan Andrada, who was in the cutoff.

The 7 completed the board and Neeme checked again. Andrada bet enough to put Neeme all in for his last 26,900 and Neeme snap-called.

Andrada showed AA, but his rockets were no good against Neeme's 65 for a rivered straight — awarding him the double up.

Leja's Queens Cracked

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Tomas Geleziunas opened to 9,000 in hijack and received an all-in shove for around 28,000 from David Leja on the button sending Geleziunas to the tank. Geleziunas called after a few seconds, taking both of them to showdown.

David Leja: QQ All in
Tomas Geleziunas: AK

Leja, ahead with his queens, watched as the dealer flopped 496. Geleziunas needed an ace or a king to drop to push ahead, but the 6 turn didn't give that to him.

Leja needed to last one more card for a double up, but the river fell K giving the pair Geleziunas the pair he had been waiting for. Geleziunas scooped the pot as Leja left the table quietly.

Aido Sends Out McDonald

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

John McDonald got his final 24,000 into the middle from the cutoff and was at risk against Sergio Aido from middle position.

John McDonald: AJ All in
Sergio Aido: AK

McDonald was in rough shape against the dominating ace of Aido. The KJ4 flop gave both players a pair but McDonald could improve no further on the 610 runout as the Spaniard held on for the elimination as he approaches 200,000 early in Day 2.
