Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Roeland Peeks opened to 4,000 from early position before Osbert Liu three-bet to 12,000 on his direct left. In the big blind, Devaraj Munisekar cold-called before Peeks folded.

Devaraj Munisekar: QQ
Osbert Liu: J9

Munisekar held an overpair to the board but Liu turned a flush as he got rewarded after a loose three-bet.

My Heart Will Go On

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Jacob Ferro raised to 4,500 in the cutoff and Rene-Charles Angelil, son of the famous Celine Dion, defended his big blind. The flop came AJ7 and Angelil check-called a bet of 3,500 from Ferro.

The turn brought the A and Angelil checked again. Ferro flicked in a small bet of 5,500 and Angelil bumped it up with a raise to 16,000. Ferro thought for a minute but decided to dump his cards in the muck.

"Since it's the last 10 minutes, I'll show one," Angelil announced as he flashed the 86 for complete air.

Paes Clings On

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Andressa Paes was all in from middle position and was called by Caetano Rufino to her direct left, who had 20,000 left in his stack.

Caetano Rufino: AQAll in
Andressa Paes: 99

The 310Q flop was good for Rufino and he secured the double-up through Paes, leaving her with only 6,500 to play with after seeing the 3 and K complete the board.

A few hands later, she was all in from the big blind and secured the pot after picking up a set of nines on the K2899 runout and showing Q9, putting her back up to 15,500.

Aragon Doubles in the Last Moment

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

James Girouard raised to 4,000 in the hijack. Adin Aragon and Christian Calcano called in the blinds, after which a K310 flop was dealt. It checked to Girouard, who bet 6,000. Aragon and Calcano both called, revealing the A turn, which checked through.

The 8 fell on the river. It checked to Girouard once more, who bet 20,000. Aragon quickly moved in for 37,000, and Calcano mucked his cards.

Girouard entered a long tank, but eventually called his AJ for top pair. Aragon tabled QJ for the nut straight, however, and doubled up during the final hands of Day 2d.

Margolis Bags the Minimum

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

In the last hand of the evening for the table and the Horseshoe Blue section, Gary Margolis agonized over making a call.

Adrien Zychowski had gone all in on the river with the board reading: 1010K99.

Margolis thought about it for a few minutes, then made the call.

Zychowski turned over KK for a full house, kings over tens.

Margolis had QJ for just a straight. He walked away, defeated.

The dealer asked a reporter to chase him down and ask him to return to the table, because he had 106,500 chips, while Zychowski had only 106,000.

Margolis had to bag one 500 chip.
