Rankic Shows Rancor

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Gennadiy Dvosis raised to 16,000 in the small blind and Marijan Rankic three-bet jammed in the big blind. Dvosis gave it some thought and called with a stack of 139,000.

Gennadiy Dvosis: 1010 All in
Marijan Rankic: 99

"Why did you tank with nines?" Rankic said in disgust. "Nine is coming!"

"If it's coming, it's coming," Dvosis said stoically.

As it turned out, the board ran out QA2510 for Dvosis to hit a third ten for an emphatic double, but Rankic still wasn't over the preflop action.

"He didn't slow roll you or nothin'," someone at the table said.

"I thought I was flipping," added Dvosis.

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Angelina Rich
Angelina Rich

Angelina Rich had her stack of 72,000 in the middle and was put at risk by Ryan Torgersen.

Angelina Rich: AQ All in
Ryan Torgersen: KQ

Rich was in the lead and was a big favorite to double up, but the QK2 flop had other ideas as Torgersen made two pair.

No ace arrived on the 4J runout, which meant Rich was eliminated as the money bubble looms ever closer.

Upreti's Jacks Hold to Bust Thomas

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Kanishka Upreti made it 10,000 from under the gun and Aaron Thomas jammed for 106,000 out of the small blind. Upreti made the call to put Thomas at risk.

Aaron Thomas: AQ All in
Kanishka Upreti: JJ

Thomas was already out of his seat heading to the 656 flop. The 10 fell on the turn, and Thomas needed an ace or queen on the river to survive. The river was the 9, and all of Thomas' chips headed over to Upreti.

Neugebauer Applies Pressure, Pardy Bows Out

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

With the board showing 4Q3KQ and around 280,000 in the pot, Max Neugebauer and Ivan Poroliev were locked in a heads-up battle. Neugebauer led out for 75,000 as the first to act, putting the pressure on Poroliev, who took his time to consider the spot.

After a long tank, Poroliev eventually released his hand, conceding the pot to Neugebauer, who quietly added a healthy boost to his stack.

Just a few hands later, Jonathan Pardy hit the rail from the same table.

Gius Coolers Bianchi to Double

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Heads-up to the turn with just over 90,000 in the middle, Roberto Bianchi checked from early position to Gregory Gius in the cutoff with the board reading 6434. Gius put out a small bet before Bianchi instantly moved all in as the covering stack and Gius snapped it off for his final 93,000 total.

Gregory Gius: KK All in
Roberto Bianchi: QQ

It was a cooler scenario between two premium holdings with Gius having the best of it. Nothing changed on the 3 river as Bianchi frustratingly cut out the double-up chips which were shipped to Gius as he collected a huge one.

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Jamin Stokes: QQ All in
