Hallaert Picks Up Another Pot

Heads-up to a 7♦J♠3♣ flop that saw Conrado Francisco check from the big blind, and Kenny Hallaert bet 160,000 from under the gun. Francisco opted to check-raise to 350,000. Hallaert paused briefly before making the call.

With around a million in the pot, the two players checked the 7♠ turn to see the 9♦ roll off on the river. Francisco checked for the last time, allowing Hallaert to bet 650,000. Francisco didn't take long to return his cards to the dealer, and surrender the pot to Hallaert.

Margets Doubles Through Becker

Greg Merson limped in on the button and Leo Margets raised to 255,000 in the small blind. Daniel Becker stuck in a three-bet from the big blind and Merson quickly folded. Margets four-bet shoved all in for 1,675,000 and Becker asked for a count before making the call.

The turn was the J♣ and Chornyy led out for 250,000. Sorrentino then moved all in for 800,000, and Chornyy snap-called.

Sorrentino had K♣Q♠ and needed to improve as Chornyy showed 9♦7♦ for a straight. The 9♥ came on the river to give Sorrentino a higher straight and earn him the double-up.

Kassouf Picks Up Aces Right After Showing a Bluff

David Swift opened 8♦7♦ to 105,000 from the cutoff and Will Kassouf three-bet to 315,000 from the button with 9♠6♣.

They saw a flop of J♣K♠9♥, where Swift checked and Kassouf bet 500,000. Swift took some time but eventually folded his hand. Kassouf showed the bluff, and added his famous quote.

In the very next hand, Carmino Argiero opened from middle position to 155,000 and Kassouf three-bet the cutoff to 480,000. Argiero then shoved for around 1,000,000, and Kassouf snap-called.

Kassouf had found the bullets right after showing a bluff, and was a huge favorite to eliminate Argiero.

Minghini Makes Ace-High Hero-Call

Mark Shutley put in a raise to 115,000 under the gun. Sejo Kasic called in the next seat, and Tony Gregg followed suit as next to act.

It then folded to Jarod Minghini in the cutoff, who three-bet to 420,000. Shutley mucked his 9♦9♥, but Kasic called. Gregg also folded a pocket pair with 6♠6♥, after which a 8♠Q♠8♦ flop was shown.

Kasic checked, Minghini bet 3000,000, and Kasic called. After some thought, Kasic also checked the 4♣ turn. Minghini mulled things over before checking back, prompting Kasic to fire a bet worth 1,000,000 on the 3♣ river.

Minghini needed some minutes before he called off. Kasic could only show king-high with K♣J♠, and Minghini was awarded the pot with A♣K♠ for nothing but ace-high.

Angelil Blasts Dumas Off a King

Rene-Charles Angelil raised to 100,000 in early position before Jordan Dumas three-bet to 280,000 in the hijack. Angelil called and they went heads-up to the K♠10♠4♥ flop.

Dumas then continued for 200,000 and Angelil called. The 7♣ turn was checked through and the 9♣ fell on the river.

Angelil then led out for 875,000, sending Dumas deep into the tank. He considered the decision for several minutes but eventually gave up his hand.

"King-jack?" Angelil asked him as he took in the pot.

"King-queen," Dumas replied.

Mizrachi three-bet to 575,000 and Tajiou put in a massive four-bet to 2,325,000. Mizrachi went into the tank for a couple minutes before folding and Tajiou dragged in the sizable pot without showdown.

Stearns Turns the Tables on Primerano

A hand that went well into the last break of the night, Hartt Stearns and Daniele Primerano were heads up in what was an innocent enough pot of 650,000. The board read A♦K♠2♣10♠6♣ and Stearns checked to the Italian who made an overbet of 880,000.

Stearns check-raised all in for 3,295,000 which put Primerano in a difficult spot. In the tank for nearly five minutes, Primerano tried to get anything he could out of his opponent.

"Give me something," he pleaded. "I've got a big hand. I don't know how I'm going to fold. You just have ace or kings though. You're supposed to have ace-king too."

Stearns sat comfortably quiet in his chair and just gave a little smirk. Primerano eventually announced a call and Stearns turned over Q♥J♥ for the nut straight to score a massive double up.
