Hesse Starts to Chip Up Again

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Holding A10, Murilo Milhomem raised to 125,000 from the hijack with Stephen Hesse calling from the small blind with 75, and Paul Gibbons defending his big blind holding A3.

The three players saw the flop come down 9J5. Following two checks, Milhomem bet 180,000. Hesse called, but Gibbons folded.

The 9 turn checked through for the 6 to fall on the river. Hesse bet 285,000, which was enough to get Milhomem to fold.

Pisarenko Sends Locquet Deep Into the Tank, Then to the Rail

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Romain Locquet
Romain Locquet

In a blind versus blind battle, Romain Locquet bet 175,000 on a flop of QJ7 and Maksim Pisarenko called.

Locquet bet another 500,000 on the 9 turn, but this time Pisarenko raised to 2,475,000. Locquet went deep into the tank, taking several minutes to ponder the decision.

"Take your time. Big pot," Francis Anderson told. After more than five minutes, Locquet eventually stuck in his last 1,500,000 more and turned over Q10 for top pair and a straight draw, but Pisarenko already had the straight with 108.

The 6 river improved Pisarenko to a flush and Locquet's Main Event run, which included memorably cracking Jared Bleznick's aces back on Day 1, came to an end.

Camp Gets Taylor to Fold the River

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
William Camp
William Camp

With 77, Esther Taylor raised to 130,000 from middle position. She was called by Murilo Milhomem on the button holding KQ, and William Camp calling out of the small blind A6.

Camp knuckled the action over to Taylor on the 94A flop, and she bet 185,000. Milhomem folded, but Camp called.

Two checks followed the 4 turn and the 3 came on the river. Camp bet 250,000, and Taylor went into the tank. Taylor thought better of it and folded, which meant Camp won the pot.

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Stephen Hesse
Stephen Hesse

Holding AJ, Stephen Hesse raised to 135,000 from middle position and was three-bet to 400,000 by Paul Gibbons in the hijack with KK. When it got back to Hesse, he decided to call.

After Hesse checked the flop of A107, Gibbons placed out a continuation-bet of 275,000. Hasse took a few moments and then called.

Both players checked the 8 turn to see the A appear on the river. Hesse led out for 310,000, and Gibbons went into the tank. After deliberating for a while, Gibbons folded and relinquished the pot to Hesse.

Milhomem Slowly Chipping Up

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Murilo Milhomem made it 125,000 to go with J10 from early position and only Bradley Jansen called out of the big blind with 77.

Jansen checked the A1010 flop, allowing Milhomem to place a continuation-bet of 115,000 with his trip tens. Hansen stuck around with a call.

The K dropped on the turn, prompting another check from Jansen. Milhomem met 240,000, which was enough to get Jansen to fold.

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Francis Anderson
Francis Anderson

Maksim Pisarenko opened to 120,000 in the cutoff and Romain Locquet three-bet to 400,000 on the button. Wagner Wysotchanski flat-called from the small blind and Francis Anderson ripped all in for 640,000 in the big blind. Pisarenko quickly folded and Locquet reshoved all in for 3,635,000. Wysotchanski thought for nearly two minutes before dumping his cards in the muck.

Francis Anderson: QQAll in
Romain Locquet: JJ

Anderson held the better of the two pocket pairs and had both of the suits covered. The board ran out K103K8 and Anderson's ladies held on for a double up which sparked some emotion himself and his friends on the rail.
