Roberts Takes Near Family Pot

Level 3

2-7 Triple Draw

Brian Tate raised under the gun and was called by Christian Roberts in the hijack, David "ODB" Baker on the button, Allen Kessler in the small blind, and Chris Hunichen in the big blind.

Hunichen needed three and everyone else took two. The action checked to Tate who bet, Roberts called, Baker raised, Kessler called, Hunichen folded, and the others called.

All four players took one card on the second draw. It checked to Roberts who bet and everyone called.

Roberts was now pat and everyone else took one card. Roberts bet and only Tate called. Roberts tabled 7x6x4x3x2x for number two to drag a massive pot.

Defending champion Calvin Anderson was seen leaving the room after an early exit, as he is the unfortunate first departure from the tournament.
