Wasserson into the Chip Lead

Level 11
Eric Wasserson
Eric Wasserson

Pot-Limit Omaha

Eric Wasserson from the hijack and Dylan Smith from the cutoff went to the Q75 flop with 165,000 in the middle already. The remainder of Smith's 65,000 found its way into the middle and he was at risk against Wasserson.

Dylan Smith: Q1087 All in
Eric Wasserson: AAK8

Smith had outflopped Wasserson's aces after making two pair and holding the only flush draw. The J turn added additional outs for Wasserson who picked up a gutshot. However, it was the 5 river that gave Wasserson the winner as he counterfeited Smith's two pair, and Wasserson is into the chip lead on the first orbit of the day.
