Lafaye's Shove on the River is Good

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Glenn Lafaye raised from under the gun to 4,500, Fiodor Lavagetto called from early position, and Jefferson Montejo called from the big blind. The flop was K610, and Lafaye bet out 4,000, after Montejo checked. Lavagetto made the call, while Montejo folded.

On the turn 8, Lavagetto checked again, and Lafaye bet again for 15,500. This time, Lavagetto took a while to think before making the call.

The river J could have completed a flush or a straight draw, but that did not stop Lafaye from moving all in for 30,000 after Lavagetto checked. Lavagetto let it go quickly, and Lafaye scooped a nice pot.
