Boris Kolev Eliminated in 26th Place ($15,720)

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Boris Kolev
Boris Kolev

Boris Kolev opened the hand with a raise from early position to 250,000 as he left only 75,000 behind. Michel Molenaar responded by going all-in for 850,000 from middle position. Jefferson Guerrero got into the mix when he also went all-in two seats over and had both covered to create a three-way showdown.

Boris Kolev: JJAll in
Michel Molenaar: AQAll in
Jefferson Guerrero: AQ

Kolev held the edge with his pocket pair against two players with the same hand, but the flop did give them a couple of additional outs as it fanned out K106.

The 7 turn was safe for Kolev, but the river gave him his jack at an untimely moment as it peeled the J to give both Molenaar and Guerrero a straight.

Kolev was eliminated in 26th place for $15,720.

Abhishek Paul Eliminated in 27th Place ($13,090)

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Abhishek Paul
Abhishek Paul

Action was folded around to Vitor Dzivielevski in the small blind, who moved all-in on Abhishek Paul in the big blind, who already had half his remaining chips in the pot.

"Comon man!" exclaimed Paul as he peeked at his cards and then made the call.

Abhishek Paul: K5All in
Vitor Dzivielevski: Q3

The dealer rolled out the 947 as the flop, which gave Dzivielevski more outs but then the 3 peeled off on the turn to send him into the lead and when the A dropped on the river it helped neither player and Paul was sent to the rail in 27th spot.

McEwen Eliminates Kershaw

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Andrew Kershaw: AQAll in
Preston McEwen: 55

The flop did not help Kershaw as it came 728.

The A was just what Kershaw was looking for, but the river was a disappointment for Kershaw as it came the 5 to give Mcewen a set.

Paul Doubles; Belea Adds Chips

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Abhishek Paul was all in and at risk preflop for 300,000 with AA and Jaehoon Baek aimed to score the knockout holding 77. There was no upset on the AQ810J runout as Paul doubled with a set of aces.

One table over, Razvan Belea defended against Stefan Lehner out of the big blind and check-raised the Q76 flop from 90,000 to 250,000 for Lehner to call. Belea bet the 6 turn for 325,000 and Lehner folded.

On the same table shortly after, Diego Emperador lost the remainder of his short stack to bring the field down to the last 28 hopefuls.

Tudor Purice
Tudor Purice

Noel Rodriguez lost a flip with pocket sevens against the AJ of Razvan Belea and he was followed to the rail by Tudor Purice.

The raise of Purice to 300,000 left 10,000 chips behind and Justin Zaki called in the next seat. Cary katz then jammed for 755,000 in the small blind for Purice to call all in, Zaki also called with the covering stack.

Tudor Purice: A10 All in
Cary Katz: AQ All in
Justin Zaki: 88

"I need a ten, Hagiiiiii," Purice demanded. The 432 flop provided some split pot outs with Katz, who then took the lead on the Q turn. The river was the 7 and Purice's elimination was confirmed, while Katz doubled through Zaki.

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Nicholas Verderamo raised to 80,000 from middle position and faced a three-bet from Simon Lindell to 240,000 in late position. Verderamo called, and the players both checked the 4910 flop as they did on the 3 turn.

The 7 revealed itself as the river, and yes, both players checked again. Verderamo tabled AQ but Lindell flipped over A9 and was pushed the pot.

Guerrero Knocks Out Nguyen

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Boris Kolev opened with a raise to 60,000 from the button. Turbo Nguyen staged his chips and pushed all in for 265,000. Jefferson Guerrero asked how much Kolev had before he also jammed. Kolev got out of the way to set up a showdown between Nguyen and Guerrero, with Nguyen at risk.

Turbo Nguyen: AQAll in
Jefferson Guerrero: 66

The flop gave Nguyen additional outs as it came 4KJ.

The turn shut down a lot of Nguyen's equity when the 6 rolled over to give Montejo a set.

The Q river paired Nguyen, but it was not enough as Montejo eliminated Nguyen from the tournament.
