Achille Sent to the Cage

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Yong Wang raised enough to put the small stacks in the blinds all in from the the button. Jacopo Achille obliged by sticking the rest of his stack in from the small blind and put himself at risk. Wang announced that he hadn't looked at his hand before the two went to a showdown.

Jacopo Achille: A10All in
Yong Wang: 86

Achille was ahead, but the flop gave Wang more outs as it came 995.

The 6 turn was an unwelcome sight for Achille, and the K river was no help to eliminate him from contention.

Kim Stays Aggressive

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

On the flop of 583 Dohyeok Kim checked from the big blind over to Breno Drumond on the cutoff who bet out for 95,000. Kim called, and the players saw the 10 fall on the turn.

Now Kim decided to lead out and bet 145,000, which Drumond called, and the dealer rolled off the 7 on the river.

Continuing his stance, Kim now bet out for 440,000. Drumond thought for a while and then pushed his cards into the muck, and the pot was pushed to Kim with no showdown.

Kyosev Scores Double

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Yu Zhang raised to 50,000 from the cutoff and was called by Michael Jozoff in the small blind. Daniel Kyosev chose to shove for 305,000 from the big blind, which elicited a fold from Zhang. Jozoff confirmed the count before he made the call to send them to a runout.

Daniel Kyosev: 1010All in
Michael Jozoff: 44

Kyosev held a significant advantage with a higher pair, and the flop was compliant as it came 957.

The 6 turn did give Jozoff a straight draw, but Kyosev had four of the straight outs covered with a draw to a higher straight.

The J was a clean card for Kyosev as he scored the double-up to stay alive.

Reis Sent Packing by Belea

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Pedro Reis
Pedro Reis

Pedro Reis raised from early position to 75,000, leaving himself just 5,000 behind, and was called by Razvan Belea in the small blind.

The flop came A3J and Belea flicked in a 5,000 chip, which put Reis all-in. Reis waited until the floor called a ten-second clock on him due to a money jump and made the call.

Pedro Reis: Q6All in
Razvan Belea : A4

The Q came on the turn and gave Reis some hope, but the 2 brick on the river didn't help at all, and he was sent to the rail.

Pyne Flushed Away

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Michael Jozoff opened from early position before Richard Pyne put in his last 125,000. Jozoff called to put Pyne at risk.

Richard Pyne: AQAll in
Michael Jozoff: AK

Jozoff had Pyne in rough shape with the better ace. The flop gave each player a piece, but it gave Jozoff the bigger piece as it came Q5K.

The river was painful for Pyne as it came the 4 to give Jozoff a flush and end Pyne's tournament run.
