Nimer Cracks Aces to Survive

Boris Kolev raised to 100,000 from an early position and Jefferson Guerrero called in the cutoff. Ahmed Nimer in the big blind glanced over at the stack of Kolev and also called as they headed to the three-way flop of Q63. Nimer open-jammed his short stack and Kolev called with the covering stack, Guerrero folded.

Finkelberg Takes Some from Hasson

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

In a blind versus blind battle, Roberto Finkelberg limped in the small blind only for Gary Hasson to raise to 175,000. Finkelberg thought for a while and debated his options, then opted to flat call.

The flop came 86Q. Finkelberg checked, and Hasson continued for 100,000. Finkelberg called.

The turn brought the 7 and not without too much deliberation, Finkelberg stacked up his chips, slid them out, and announced he was all in for approximately 420,000. This sent Hasson deep into the tank for a few minutes, and he finally released his hand, and the pot was pushed to Finkelberg with no showdown.

Perez Gets a Shove Through

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Breno Drumond went on a streak of winning several smaller pots and he then called a raise to 100,000 by Michael Jozoff, Roger Perez also called in the big blind. On the K62 flop, it checked to Drumond and his bet of 100,000 was called only by Drumond.

After the 5 turn, Perez check-called another 295,000 and then jammed the 8 river. Drumond went into the tank for a short while without asking for an exact count and folded the KQ face-up.

"Good fold," [Removed:548] said.

"Would you fold pocket kings, disregarding the preflop action?" Jozoff asked Drumond thereafter.

Boris Kolev opened the hand with a raise from early position to 250,000 as he left only 75,000 behind. Michel Molenaar responded by going all-in for 850,000 from middle position. Jefferson Guerrero got into the mix when he also went all-in two seats over and had both covered to create a three-way showdown.

Kolev was eliminated in 26th place for $15,720.
