Vasylchenko Scoops the Pot

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Oleg Vasylchenko opened to 8,000 in the hijack, and got called by Jeremie Dray on the button and Gheorghe Podovei in the big blind. The flop revealed A27.

Podovei check-called the bet of 8,000 from Vasylchenko, but Dray decided to call. Both players saw the turn J and checked to the river Q.

The two players checked again. As soon as Vasylchenko flipped his cards 1010, Dray tossed his cards away. All the chips in the middle of the table moved towards Vasylchenko.

ICYMI: Michael Mizrachi Wins FOURTH $50,000 Poker Players Championship

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

“I probably played better than the last three I won. Everything went my way this tournament. I was always at the top of the leaderboard, never really got short, and probably played my best overall.”

That's what Michael Mizrachi had to say after he cruised to victory in Event #66: $50,000 Poker Players Championship.

Already sharing the record for most $50,000 Poker Players Championship victories with Brian Rast, Mizrachi now stands alone after capturing his historic fourth title on Saturday at the 2025 World Series of Poker. "The Grinder" conquered the 107-entry field, earning $1,331,322 from the $5,162,750 prize pool and further cementing his legacy as the event's most dominant force.

Barbieri Busts Before the Bubble

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Ruiliang Hong moved all in from early position and got a call from John Barbieri in the cutoff, who was covered by Hong. Yoel Selles Meijer also called and was covered by Hong.

John Barbieri: QQAll in
Yoel Meijer: JJAll in
Ruiliang Hong: A3

Barbieri flopped well on AQ10. The 8 turn gave Meijer more outs and he improved to a straight on the 9 river, stealing the pot from both and eliminating Barbieri.
