Richard Harroch raised the pot to 3,500,000 under the gun. Quan Tran called in the hijack, and a flop of 8♠8♦Q♦ was dealt. Harroch pushed in his remaining 3,700,000 chips, which Tran after some thought.

Action folded to Paulo Drummond on the button, and he opened to 2,500,000. In the small blind, Davis Modans responded with a raise to 8,500,000, leaving just 1,000,000 behind. Drummond made the call, and before the flop was fully spread, Modans pushed in his last chip. Drummond quickly called.

The flop came 6♣6♠9♥, and the cards were turned up.

Drummond asked the dealer for a jack, and just like that, the J♠ landed on the turn. The 2♥ river was a blank, and Modans was eliminated as Drummond got exactly what he needed.

Quan Tran opened the action from early position with a raise to 2,500,000, and William Titcomb called on the button. Ferenc Deak then raised pot to 10,400,000 from the big blind. That got Tran to fold, but Titcomb responded by shoving all in. Deak quickly called, and the cards went on their backs.

Titcomb had plenty of connectivity, but Deak’s ace-king and suited diamonds gave him plenty of equity. The board ran out 9♣7♦5♦8♦10♥, giving Titcomb a straight, but it wasn’t enough. Deak made the nut flush and scooped the pot, sending Titcomb to the rail.

After winning a pot for around 10,000,000 against Quan Tran, Ferenc Deak raised to 2,100,000 from under the gun. The action folded all the way to Carlos De Lima in the big blind who opted to defend it.

They both checked through the 9♠6♥8♥ flop and the 7♥ on the turn to the 8♦ on the river. De Lima bet 3,500,000 for Deak to call. De Lima tabled the A♠4♣3♣3♥ for Deak to show the A♣J♣10♥8♣ for the straight to get him to almost 50 million in chips.
