Too Much Sugar Not Good for Strawczynski

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

It was almost a family pot except for two players when the flop dropped 32K. Frederic Delval bet 84,000 and got a call from the man on his immediate left, Idan Strawczynski.

On the turn 8, Delval continued with a pot-sized bet worth 252,000. Strawczynski hung on to see the last card.

On the river J, Delval announced all-in for 154,000, sending Strawczynski to the tank. Strawczynski was visibly struggling to decide what to do. Delval explained that he had to shove because he knew Strawczynski would jam with his supposed set, so he took the initiative instead.

Strawczynski asked, "If I fold, will you show?" Delval replied in the negative as he didn't want Jeevandeep Singh, who was also at the table, to know his strategy.

Finally, Delval coaxed Strawczynski, "Call, you'll get a French bounty. It has 10% more sugar."

Chuckling, Strawczynski folded his hand, and Delval graciously showed AK97 for a flush. He scooped the pot as everyone talked about the hand.
