Sergio Aido jammed the small blind for 3,500,000 and Alexandre Reard called in the big blind.

Reard had Aido pipped as the K♣10♠6♥ flop offered no help to either player. Reard looked primed for the knockout on the 2♥ turn until the 2♣ completed the board, and the pot ended in a chop.

Alexandre Reard limped the small blind before Khoi Le Nguyen announced, "nine," from the big blind. It was ruled to be a minimum raise to 1,200,000, and Reard called.

On the 7♠7♦2♥ flop, Reard check-called a bet of 1,000,000 from Nguyen.

Reard checked again on the 4♥ turn before Nguyen sized up to 3,500,000, and Reard called again.

The K♠ river checked through as Reard tabled A♦8♣ and his ace-high was good enough to win as he got some chips back.

The action was joined as Alexandre Reard and Khoi Le Nguyen were competing for a pot that already had roughly 8,000,000 in the middle.

The table had a full board already showing 2♣4♥K♦J♣3♠, and action was on Reard, playing from the big blind.

Reard led out for a bet of 2,000,000, and Nguyen quickly raised to 10,000,000. Reard called, but was shown bad news as Nguyen flipped over A♣K♥ for the best hand.

Alexandre Reard raised to 1,200,000 on the button, and Khoi Le Nguyen responded with a three-bet to 4,800,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded, but Reard made the call.

Both players checked on the J♥10♦5♠ flop, and the dealer added the Q♣ to the board.

Nguyen checked again, prompting Reard to fire out a bet of 3,500,000. Nguyen called, and the players headed to a river.

The J♦ river slowed the action down as both players checked. Nguyen flipped over A♦Q♦, which was enough to win the pot as Reard returned his cards to the dealer.

Khoi Le Nguyen jammed the small blind covering and Jun Obara quickly called from the big blind for his final 5,800,000.

Obara was the slight favorite to double until the 10♦9♣4♣ flop paired Nguyen's ten. The 8♥ turn gave Obara an open-ender, but the Q♠ completed the board as Obara was left with ace-high, and he exited in fourth with a smile on his face, with an additional $879,939 consolation prize.

The dealer fanned out a 9♦K♣9♠ flop, and Reard check-called a bet of 1,000,000.

The action was short and sweet from that point, as the players checked down on the A♣ turn and the 2♥ river.

Reard turned over 5♠5♥, which was enought to claim the pot, as Nguyen mucked his cards.

Lingham was ahead with ace-high but Reard held live cards, which he was able to pair on the Q♣J♦8♥ flop. Nothing changed on the board-pairing J♥ turn before the 5♥ ended Lingham's great run in fifth place, as he takes home $636,279 for his efforts.

Mustafov needed some help to survive as his ace was dominated. He found no such help on the A♥9♥5♥ flop as both players paired their ace but Nguyen also picked up a flush draw. The board ran out 4♦4♠ as Mustafov could improve no further, and Nguyen's kicker played to eliminate Mustafov in sixth.
