Foxen Pushes on to Over a Milly

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

Action folded around to Alex Foxen, who raised to 20,000 from the cutoff. Jimmy Guerrero called from the big blind, and the players saw the flop of A29.

Guerrero checked to Foxen, who continued for 11,000. Guerrero called, and the dealer rolled off the Q as the turn card.

Again, Guerrero checked to Foxen, who now bet out for a hefty 77,000. Guerrero went into the tank and made the call.

The 5 peeled off on the river, and Guerrero checked for the third time. Foxen, with his trademark stare, thought for a while and then bet out for 300,000, which was enough to put Guerrero all-in. Guerrero went deeper into the tank this time for three to four minutes before he made the call. Foxen tabled AK, which had Guerrero's A6 crushed, and Guerrero was sent packing whilst Foxen has pushed on to over 1,000,000 in chips.

Fourteen Minutes to Forever

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action was picked up on a completed board of 486109, around 500,000 in the pot and a 550,000 bet from Tzur Levy and action waiting for Agustin Naranja, who was covered by the bet. He took considerable time to consider his options.

He took quite some time that `the floor was called for a clock. The moment the floor arrived, Michael Leah, who was also at the table, complained that the hand had already taken 14 minutes.

The floor made a count, and Naranja made the call at the very last second. Levy tabled 99 which evoked a frustrated groan from Naranja who turned over his cards to show KK.

Naranja immediately left the table. As Levy scooped the pot, and with Naranja gone, the table couldn't help but talk about the hand that seemed to take forever.

De Silva Grows His Stack

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

On a pot of 60,000 and a board of 7853, Upeshka De Silva check-called Jordan Schneible's 28,000 bet.

After a check, Schneible fattened the pot further with a 90,000 bet. De Silva replied with an all-in worth more than 700,000 which effectively placed Schneible all-in if called.

Schneible went into the tank to consider his options. He started counting his chips but opted to concede the hand and the pot to De Silva.
