In a heads-up pot with around 1,200,000 in the middle, the board read 5♣2♣K♠9♦ and James Mackey sent a bet of 825,000. Jacopo Achille thought about his move and shoved for a total of 3,425,000. Mackey ended up calling with with 3,075,000:

Kitai went deep into the tank. "This is a gamble spot," he said before making the call.

The gamble seemed to pay off for Kitai on a flop of 2♦7♣9♣, but the 7♦5♠ runout didn't complete his flush so Munteanu doubled up.

Tamer Alkamli opened to 240,000 under the gun and was called by Ankit Ahuja in hijack. Jordan Schneible three-bet to 935,000 leaving behind 25,000. Alkamli folded but Ahuja decided to four-bet all in prompting Schneible to throw his remaining chips in.
