All the chips went in the middle preflop between Upeshka De Silva and Alexander Farahi, who lost a pot earlier to De Silva and had around 150,000 left:
Alexander Farahi: K♥J♥
Upeshka De Silva: A♥J♣
Farahi was dominated and the board didn't bring him any help with 7♦9♠8♥5♠A♣ to bust him from the event.
Action was caught on a pot of around 250,000 and a completed board of K♣10♦4♠9♣3♥. John Racener bet 180,000, sending his heads-up opponent, Stephane Revelly, to the tank. Revelly finally made the call and had to muck after Racener showed J♣J♦.
Joshua Abiscott, who was on the table, was analyzing the hand with Huck Seed. Abiscott continued on as if Racener wasn't within earshot, eventually apologizing to the latter for the conversation.
But it didn't stop until Racener and Seed found themselves in an all-in situation against each other on a pot of around 200,000 and a flop of 8♦2♣6♣. Seed was all-in for 225,000 and action was with Racener. After stating he really didn't want Seed to go, he called.
Huck Seed: 8♠7♥
Joshua Abiscott: 9♣9♥
Abiscott was ahead with his nines until the turn 7♠ dropped, giving Seed two pair. The 2♥ counterfeited Seeds two pair to give Abiscott the win.
Their conversation ended somehow with Abiscott saying that he deserved to win, to which Seed replied that the young ones were the ones who should.
Moments after Ning Dong won a flip against Osmin Dardon to double up, it was Paul Balzano's turn to be at risk for 725,000 from middle position against Oliver Bithell in the cutoff.
Paul Balzano: A♦10♥
Oliver Bithell: J♥J♣
The board of Q♣9♦6♠6♦9♥ didn't change anything and Balzano was eliminated.
Christopher Puetz started the action under the gun with a 50,000 bet and got a three-bet from Hugues Girard to 120,000. Puetz took a few seconds before making the call.
Both players saw J♥K♠2♦. Puetz check-called Girard's bet of 55,000. After action was passed to him on the 7♦, Girard kept the pressure high with a 135,000 bet. Puetz stayed on.
On the river Q♣. Puetz shoved all-in for around 120,000 and Girard snap-called.
Puetz showed K♦Q♦ for a two pair on the river but Girard had him beat when he flipped over K♣K♥ for a set on the flop.
Action was picked up with Vamsi Magam in hijack all-in for 200,000 against Wenzhi Fei in cutoff.
Vamsi Magam: 8♣8♠
Wenzhi Fei: A♦Q♣
Fei spiked a pair from the window card of the flop Q♦5♥2♦ evoking a loud cheer from the player. The runout K♦7♦ didn't help Magam at all. Magam was sent to the payout counter to collect his cash as Fei happily scooped the pot.
Andres Vasquez opened to 50,000 on the button and got an all-in shove for around 200,000 from Rui Nogueira in the smalll blind. When action returned to him, Vasquez called.
Rui Nogueira: A♣9♣
Andres Vasquez: K♦K♥
Nogueira looked cheerful when the flop came 8♣A♠10♦ giving him two pair on the flop and beating Vaquez's kings. He was looking for an almost assured double up when the 10♥ dropped on the turn improving his hand to a full house.
But the river K♣ fell on the river, shifting the lead to Vasquez with the better full house. With hopes and dreams dashed, Noqueira left the tournament.
