Tomescu Doubles Through Yee Again

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Andrew Yee opened to 330,000 on the button and got a three-bet shove for around 1,000,000 from the player to his immediate left, George Tomescu.

Slightly peeved that they were heads-up again, Yee made the call taking them to showdown.

George Tomescu: 1010 All in
Andrew Yee : A4

Tomescu's tens held on the board of 82JJQ. Somewhat expecting the result, Yee matched Tomescu's chips and gave him his double-up.

In a blind versus blind pot, the flop read 923 when Andrew Yee checked and George Tomescu bet 190,000. Yee tanked and raised to 475,000. Tomescu shoved for around 2,260,000 and Yee called with slightly less:

Andrew Yee: 53 All in
George Tomescu: QQ

Yee was in bad shape to survive, and the J8 runout didn't bring anything to bust Yee from the event.

Ahuja Flops Trips, Eliminates Schneible

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Tamer Alkamli opened to 240,000 under the gun and was called by Ankit Ahuja in hijack. Jordan Schneible three-bet to 935,000 leaving behind 25,000. Alkamli folded but Ahuja decided to four-bet all in prompting Schneible to throw his remaining chips in.

Jordan Schneible: AQ All in
Ankit Ahuja: KJ

It was looking positive for Schneible as the hands were tabled as he was ahead with ace-high. He started packing his things, however, when the flop dropped KK4. Drawing dead, he wished the table good luck as the dealer completed the board with a runout 97.
