Brooks Takes From Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu raised the cutoff with Micah Brooks and Daniel Spear calling from the blinds.

When it checked to Negreanu on the 10K8 flop, he bet and only Brooks called.

The turn came the 7 and the action checked through to see the 2 appear on the river. Brooks bet, and Negreanu called.

Brooks showed AKJ10 for top two pair, prompting Negreanu to muck.

The action checked to Blom on the 888 flop, and he bet. Lamb and Coleman called.

Lamb led out when the 3 appeared on the turn. Coleman raised, Blom folded, and Lamb three-bet all in. Coleman called, and the cards were revealed.

Micah Brooks opened the action with a raise from the cutoff, and Matthew Beinner moved all in for his stack of 130,000. Hunter McClelland in big blind called, as did Brooks.

Both Brooks and McClelland checked to showdown as the board ran out 5K929.

McClelland announced kings as he tabled KJ42, which was good to take the pot as Brooks turned over A1073 and Beinner tossed A1064 in the muck as he was sent to the rail, bursting the final table bubble.

The board ran out 86484 and Vieira had second best both ways and the pot was pushed to Spear, ending the run for Portugal's last representative.

Brooks Gets Quartered

Action was picked up in a single raise pot on the flop, with the board showing A47.

After the flop the Micah Brooks check-called a bet from Viktor Blom.

The turn was the 9 and Brooks-checked raised the bet Blom, and Blom called the raise.

After the A on the river, Brooks bet, before Blom raised and Brooks quickly made the call. Brooks tabled AQ75 for a full house, aces full of sevens. But when Blom turned over A753 Blom had the same full house and a low, leaving Brooks quartered.

Negreanu Gets Nothing; Beinner Stays Alive

Viktor Blom opened with a raise from the hijack, and when it folded to Daniel Negreanu on the button, he three-bet. Then it folded to the big blind Matthew Beinner, who put in a four-bet. Both Blom and Negreanu called.

After the flop came 1048 Beinner moved all in for his last 40,000. Blom then raised, which Negreanu called.

Both Blom and Negreanu checked the 3 turn, to see the K on the river. Blom then bet, and Negreanu called.

Blom tabled 4433 to scoop the side pot with his set of fours, and Negreanu mucked. For the main pot, Blom's set was still best for the high, but Beinner had an ace-deuce to take the low, and stay in the tournament.
