Kitajima Hurt by Chop

Level 40 : Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante

Kieran Walsh: AJ

The runout of 48765 looked good for Kitajima early, not so good late, as the straight on the board resulted in a chopped pot, as opposed to a double-up.

Sanchez Continues to Roll

Level 40 : Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante

Hertsel Levy raised to 4,000,000 from the button and was called by Nelson Mari Sanchez in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a 8JQ flop. Sanchez checked, Levy bet 2,500,000, and Sanchez called.

The turn was the 2, Sanchez checked again, this time Levy bet 7,000,000, and Sanchez made the call.

The river card was the 4, Sanchez checked for a third time. Levy decided to bet 15,000,000. Sanchez thought about his options for a moment, did some inventory of his chip stack, and eventually stuck in the call. Levy tossed his cards into the muck, and Sanchez dragged in a nice pot as his stack continued to grow.
