Cajelais Gets the Bluff Through

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Erik Cajelais
Erik Cajelais

Julien Duveau raised to 200,000 from under the gun only to face a three-bet from Erik Cajelais in late position to 500,000. Duveau called.

The flop came 339, and Duveau check-called Cajelais' 325,000 continuation bet. The J came on the turn, and again Duveau checked to Cajelais, who now bet out for 725,000. Duveau called.

The river brought the J, and Duveau checked for a third time to Cajelais, who now moved all-in for 1,095,000, which sent Duveau deep into the tank. He eventually folded his cards. "Show the bluff" came a call from another player at the table, enticing Cajelais to table his QK as he was shipped the massive pot.

Action checked through on the 9 turn and 5 river. Adomkevicius tabled AA to the surprise of Smith, which was good for the winning hand.

Fawcett Is Flowing Again

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Justin Fawcett
Justin Fawcett

Justin Fawcett, in the room where two days ago the bracelet ceremony for his winning Event #85: $600 Ultra Stack was held, is at it again.

Fawcett knocked out two competitors in three minutes, to up his chipstack to what would have been the second most at the recent break.

In the first hand, Luis Manzo went all-in against Fawcett, who had QQ that held.

Jimmy Setna was the victim in the second hand.

With a little over one million chips in the pot, Fawcett bet 450,000 from under the gun to a board reading 57Q6 at the turn. Setna raised all in with 2,075,000.

Fawcett thought about it, talked about it, saying he knew was behind but it was time to gamble, so he made the call.

Jimmy Setna: 55All in
Justin Fawcett: AK

"Whoa, it's worse than I thought," Fawcett said, when he saw Setna had flopped a set of fives.

But the river was still to come and the 3 landed to give Fawcett an ace-high flush and the massive pot.

Sese Sent Packing

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

David Hudson raised from under the gun to 160,000 and action folded to Mariedward Sese on the button who three-bet all in for 970,000. Hudson didn't take long and made the call.

Mariedward Sese: 55All in
David Hudson: AK

Not the best flop of 3xAK for Sese, and when the 8 fell on the turn, he was drawing thin. The 4 was no help, and he was sent to the cage.
