What. Just. Happened?

That’s what everyone at the WSOP Main Event feature table must’ve been asking after witnessing the biggest pot of the tournament so far in what was an absolutely wild hand that’s destined for future WSOP highlight reels.

Jeremy Kottler, an American player with over $2.5 million in live earnings, pulled the trigger on an audacious king-high bluff on Day 5 of poker's World Championship. Unfortunately for him, Yuchen Chen was holding fives full of jacks and made the call for his tournament life after spending some time in the tank.

The 4.55 million chip pot (152 big blinds) shipped Chen’s way, leaving the table and everyone else stunned. This is one hand you’ll want to read again and again.

Evan Haskell raised to 4,200 under the gun, Ren Lin called on the button, and Elliott Kampen called in the big blind.

The flop came 2♦9♠A♥, Haskell fired out a bet of 3,500, Lin called but Kampen asked Haskell "how much you playing?", Haskell replied with "about starting stack", and Kampen raised to 20,000. Both Lin and Haskell snap-folded.

Kampen tabled A♦J♣9♦6♣, for top two pair.

Oren Haziza announced before the flop that if he won that hand, he would go on to win the tournament.

The flop came A♥4♠8♠ and Haziza, who was the big blind, immediately declared his impending victory with a pot-sized bet. Antoine Sankari, a nonbeliever in his Canadian countryman, called from the cutoff.

The turn was the K♣ and Haziza went all in with his final 17,500 chips. Sankari, hesitated for a bit, but eventually made the call.
