Winter Chips Up; Kempton Jams
Level 21
: Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Tzai Wei Phua tangled with Sean Winter in a three-bet pot on which he then checked the 9♠5♣2♠ flop from under the gun, Winter bet 165,000 and won the pot.
In the next hand, Phua defended the big blind and check-raised the 8♦8♣2♦ flop from 40,000 to 140,000. Winter called and had the 3♥ turn checked to, betting for 190,000 and forcing out Phua.
Meanwhile, one table over, Isaac Kempton raised to 50,000 under the gun, and Mike Watson called. They checked to the 9♣6♣4♣5♦Q♦ river on which Kempton checked again. Watson bet the pot for 160,000, and Kempton check-jammed to take down the pot without further resistance.
