Kempton Gets Through Traffic

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

The hand picked up on the board that read 436 with approximately 13,500 already in the middle in a four-way pot.

David Chen, Daniel Negreanu, and Tobias Schwecht checked to Isaac Kempton on the button, who elected to be 3,000. All the remaining players called to stay in the hand to keep the hand going four ways.

All four players checked the 3 turn to bring the 9 river.

The table checked to Kempton, who put out a bet of 10,000. The other three players folded to award Kempton the pot.

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With two players seeing a board of 6Q2 and around 12,000 in the middle Mike Matusow checked from the big blind and called a 3,000 bet from Alessio La Francesca who was under the gun.

Matusow led for 7,000 on the J turn. La Francesca raised to 22,000 and Matusow called before both players checked the 6 river.

Mutusow showed A4 for just ace-high after missing the nut-flush draw. La Francesca mucked and Matusow took the pot.

Foxen Flips for Double

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The action folded to Jimmy Guerrero on the button, who moved all in for 52,000. The small blind folded, but Kristen Foxen called from the big blind.

Foxen only had 23,500 in her stack and, as such, was the player at risk.

Kristen Foxen: JJ All in
Jimmy Guerrero: AQ

There was no help for Guerrero on the 63K69 runout, and Foxen was awarded the double up.

Quads for Lindgren

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Erick Lindgren
Erick Lindgren

The action was joined as Albert Nguyen and Erick Lindgren were already on the river in a substantially large pot.

With roughly 80,000 already in the middle, action was on Nguyen with a board showing 889JQ.

Nguyen attempted to put Lindgren under pressure by moving all in, covering his opponent's stack.

Lindgren called straight away, though, and revealed that he had flopped quads with his 88. Nguyen attempted to muck his cards but was forced to turn them over as it was an all-in pot. The dealer flipped them over, showing A7.

Campos Stacks La Francesca

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Alessio La Francesca chose to shove for 44,500 on the button and was called in the next seat over Rui Campos in the small blind to be at risk for his tournament life.

Alessio La Francesca: A8All in
Rui Campos: JJ

La Francesca was in trouble against the pocket jacks of Campos.

The flop offered no solace for La Francesca as it came 1054. The J turn made it so he was drawing dead as the inconsequential 9 peeled on the river.

Mateos Building a Stack

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Adrian Mateos raised to 4,500 from the cutoff and only Pavel Plesuv called, defending his big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of Q94 and Plesuv check-called a bet of 4,000.

The turn card added the 10 to the board, and when checked to, Mateos continued for 15,000. Again, Plesuv called.

Both players then checked the K river. Plesuv flipped over 108 for one pair, Mateos then revealed his Q6 for a superior pair, earning him the pot.
