2025 World Series of Poker
Level: 15
Blinds: 3,000/6,000
Ante: 6,000
Players are now on a 15-minute break. Play will resume at the 3,000/6,000 blind level.
The action folded to Carlos Ribeiro on the button, who moved all in for 36,000. Isaac Kempton was the only player to make the call from the big blind.
Carlos Ribeiro: J♥5♥
Isaac Kempton: K♥10♦
The dealer burned and turned three, revealing a 6♥10♠2♦ flop, keeping Kempton in the lead, offering Ribeiro little more than some back-door opportunities.
When the turn and the river were unable to offer Ribeiro any further help, he gathered up his belongings and exited the tournament area.
Joshua Kay began the hand with a raise from the button to 10,000. He got called by Clemen Deng in the small blind, and Pavels Spirins in the big blind.
The flop came K♣Q♣J♥ before Deng fired 12,000. Spirins folded before Kay raised it to 38,000.
Deng gave it some thought before he folded to yield the pot to Kay.
With two players seeing a board of 2♥3♦3♣J♦7♥ and a bit over 25,000 in the middle Fabiano Kovalski checked from the small blind and Sean Winter bet 18,000 in the big blind. Kovalski called.
Winter had 7♦5♣ for two pair, sevens and threes which was enough to take the pot.
The chips went in preflop between Heinz Schluter and Jordan Glazer, with Glazer at risk for 142,000.
Jordan Glazer: 10♥10♠
Heinz Schluter: J♣J♠
Glazer had one foot out the door when the board ran 5♠8♣3♣Q♥2♥ to send him to the exit.
When the action folded to David Kaufmann in the small blind, he raised to 18,000. Big blind, Jason Wong responded with a three-bet to 53,000.
Kaufmann then took a minute to survey the situation before sliding out a tower of chips, putting Wong all in.
Wong wasted little time in folding, and Kaufmann added more chips to his big stack.
With two players seeing a board of 5♣K♦10♠3♦ and around 40,000 in the middle Carlos Ribeiro checked from the small blind and Nicholas Seward bet 25,000 from the big blind. Ribeiro check-raised to 95,000 and Seward shoved for around 150,000. Ribeiro called with a covering stack to put Seward at risk.
Nicholas Seward: K♠7♦
Carlos Ribeiro: A♦5♦
Ribeiro had a pair and the nut-flush draw while Seward had the best made hand with a pair of kings. Seward's top pair held up on the 7♠ river and he doubled up through Ribeiro.
