Rezaei Doubles

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Seeing a raise from the button to 16,000 and a call from small blind player Aleks Dimitrov ahead of him, Daniel Rezaei raised to 57,000 in the big blind.

The original raiser folded, but Dimitrov called and then flipped his cards over. What Dimitrov didn't realise is that Rezaei had left himself 1,000 behind and wasn't all in.

The dealer spread a flop of 364 and Dimitrov check-called the bet of 1,000.

Daniel Rezaei: AQ All in
Aleks Dimitrov: K8

The runout favoured Rezaei, with the turn coming 4 and river 7 keeping him in the lead.

Gheba Slows Down Matusow

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

With two players seeing a board of K9J27 and around 70,000 in the middle, Daniyal Gheba bet 52,000 from the big blind and Mike Matusow called from the button.

Gheba showed K9 for kings up to win the hand. Despite the small setback, Matusow still holds one of the largest stacks in the room after taking down a massive pot just before this hand.

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

An all-in hand broke out between [Removed:546] in the big blind and Daniel Rezaei in the cutoff after a series of raises led to [Removed:547] being all-in and at risk for 106,000.

[Removed:546]: A2All in
Daniel Rezaei: A10

Rezaei had [Removed:547] in a tough spot, but the flop gave [Removed:547] all he could want when it came 922.

The 4 turn ended any possibility for Rezaei to regain the lead as the meaningless K hit the river.

Wasserson Out Runs Kyosev

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Daniel Kyosev began the action with a raise to 12,000 from under the gun. It folded to Eric Wasserson on the button, who chose to raise to 34,000.

Kyosev responded with a three-bet to 87,000. Not to be outdone, Wasserson four-bet jammed all-in for 285,000. Kyosev quickly called to send them to a showdown.

Eric Wasserson: A5All in
Daniel Kyosev: QQ

Wasserson was in dire straits as he ran up against the queens of Kyosev, but the flop gave him immediate relief as it fanned out A103.

Wasserson stayed ahead on the 8 turn, and the A river punctuated his double-up against Kyosev.

Action folded to Josh Arieh in the small blind, who moved all in for 65,000. After receiving confirmation of the bet amount, David Kaufmann made the call in the big blind.

Josh Arieh: 99 All in
David Kaufmann: QJ

The flop QK9 saw Kaufmann improve to second pair, but Arieh also improved to a set of nines.

There was no further help for Kaufmann on the 3 or the 7 turn, requiring him to slide 65,000 in the direction of his neighbor.

Brian Rast had raised to 111,000 from the big blind over some previous action only for Davide Suriano to shove for around 260,000 from the button. Rast went into the tank for a couple minutes before calling with a covering stack to put Suriano at risk.

Davide Suriano: KK All in
Brian Rast: AQ

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Joshua Kay raised from under the gun to 12,000, and only Erick Lindgren called, defending his big blind.

Lindgren led out for 13,000 on the 8106 flop, which Kay called.

The dealer added the 8 turn to the board, and Lindgren bet again, this time for 18,000. This time, though, Kay responded with a raise to 57,000. Lindgren wasn't finished with the aggression, putting in a three-bet to 123,000.

Kay didn't take too long before folding, surrendering the pot to Lindgren.

Brian Rast opened from the hijack to 12,000, but Adrian Mateos wanted to play for all of it as he jammed for 51,000 from the button. Rast gave it considerable thought before he flicked in the call to put Mateos at risk.

Adrian Mateos: AJAll in
Brian Rast: J10

Mateos was in a favorable position as he dominated Rast's hand, and the runout offered little drama as it came 38K5Q to award Mateos the double.
