Hugues Girard began the action with a raise to 17,000 from under the gun. Nikita Kuznetsov opted to raise to 51,000 from the button, and Gustavo Ortega chose to ramp it up even more, making the price of admission 130,000.
Girard folded, and Kuznetsov went into the tank for a significant amount of time. Eventually, the clock was called on Kuznetsov, who folded to yield the pot to Ortega.
Clemen Deng moved all in for his remaining 22,000 from the hijack, and only Artem Metalidi called from the small blind.
Clemen Deng: A♥8♦
Artem Metalidi: A♦J♣
Deng was already organising his belongings to leave as the dealer spread the 4♦9♠6♥ flop, and he made a hasty exit when the Q♠ turn and J♥ river landed.
[Removed:564] and Omar Del Pino clashed in an all-in pot preflop when [Removed:565] got his chips in and at risk for 278,000 from the button against Del Pino, who had him covered.
[Removed:564]: K♥J♥
Omar Del Pino: K♦K♠
[Removed:565] was in deep trouble to stay alive against the pocket kings of Del Pino, but the flop did offer a sliver of hope as it came Q♠7♣9♥ to give [Removed:565] a gutshot.
The Q♣ turn did not bring about any drama, and the 6♦ was the final card [Removed:565] would see in the tournament as he was sent out on the bubble.
With three players seeing a board of J♦10♣8♣ and around 70,000 in the middle, Cesar Del Pino bet 20,000 from under the gun and [Removed:564] called from the small blind. Aram Zobian raised to 114,000 from the big blind and Del Pino shoved, covering both players. [Removed:565] quickly got out of the way while Zobian called with his remaining stack of 219,000, putting himself at risk.
Aram Zobian: 9♦7♥
Cesar Del Pino: 9♣5♣
Zobian had flopped the second-nut straight but Del Pino was drawing live to a flush draw. Zobian's straight held up on the 8♥A♠ runout and he took down a massive double up through Del Pino on the stone bubble.
Jakob Miegel raised from the hijack and was called by Scott Wright in the small blind. Blas Torres threw in his final 8,000 from the big blind to be at risk, while Miegel and Wright played for a side pot.
The flop came down 3♦10♠8♦, which prompted a shove from Wright. Miegel folded to send Wright and Torres to a showdown.
Blas Torres: 5♦2♣
Scott Wright: J♥J♠
Wright was well ahead against the five high of Torres.
The 10♥ ended the hand as the 5♥ hit the river, as Torres was eliminated.
With just 84 players remaining and only 82 making it into the money, the tournament clock has been paused. Players will now play hand for hand until the bubble has burst.
Heinz Schluter raised to 16,000 from the cutoff before David Kaufmann responded with a re-raise to 55,000 from the small blind. Heinz Schluter jammed for 247,000, and after getting a count, Kaufmann called to put Schluter at risk.
Heinz Schluter: A♣K♣
David Kaufmann: 9♦9♠
It was a race, but the flop made it a one-sided affair as it fanned out 9♣6♥8♦.
The 8♣ sealed the deal as the meaningless 6♦ hit the river.
