Lin Continues Aggression

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The first hand back from the break saw Tzur Levy raise to 12,000 from the cutoff, before, true to form, Ren Lin three-bet on the button to 36,000.

The players in between the two folded, but Levy made the call.

The action was short and sweet postflop as Levy check-folded to Lin's continuation-bet of 20,000 on a 510J flop.

"It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

Michael Mizrachi is best known as ‘The Grinder,’ but Rocky may well be just as fitting after staging a remarkable comeback from near elimination during a stunning session of poker on Day 8 of the WSOP Main Event.

Gheba Slows Down Lin

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With two players seeing a board of 10J6Q and a bit over 50,000 in the middle, Ren Lin checked from the big blind and Daniyal Gheba bet 48,000 from the button. Lin called.

Lin checked again on the 4 river and Gheba shoved, covering Lin who had a bit under 200,000 behind. Lin folded and Gheba took down a nice pot without showdown.

Set Up Alert

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Erick Lindgren
Erick Lindgren

Brandon Sheils raised on the button to 12,000 and saw immediate resistance from John Juanda in the small blind. Juanda moved all in for 141,000 before Erick Lindgren, in the big blind, followed suit, moving all in covering both players from the big blind.

Sheils asked for a count of the stacks before realising his own stack of roughly 150,000 was covered by Lindgren. Nevertheless, he flicked in a call, and the three players flipped their cards over.

John Juanda: 1010 All in
Brandon Sheils: JJ All in
Erick Lindgren: QQ

A dream spot for Lindgren just a few hands after the break.

The dealer burned and turned three, revealing a 828 flop, keeping Lindgren in the lead.

The turn 3 and river K didn't change the outcome, and Lindgren sent two players to the rail at the same time.

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Valentino Konakchiev was first to act and raised before Ibrahim Senoussi popped it to 42,000 from the cutoff. Konakchiev called to send them to a flop.

Both players checked the 108Q to see a free turn.

The 10 turn led to a check from Konakchiev before Senoussi put out two green chips for 50,000. Konakchiev gave it a moment's thought before he mucked his hand to award Senoussi the pot.

Metalidi Asks the Question

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Erick Lindgren started the action from under the gun with a raise to 13,000. Pavels Spirins responded with a three-bet from the button to 46,000, and action then folded to Artem Metalidi in the big blind.

Metalidi took a moment to survey the situation before sliding in a cold four-bet to 106,000.

Both Lindgren and Spirins quickly folded, and Metalidi pulled in the pot uncontested.
