Tumboli Picks Off Foxen's Bluff

Alex Foxen made it 40,000 from the hijack with Jeremy Ausmus calling from the cutoff, and Zarvan Tumboli calling out of the small blind.

Tumboli knuckled the action to Foxen on the A♣5♠4♦ flop, and Foxen bet 60,000. Ausmus folded, but Tumboli called.

The 6♣ turn checked through for the 8♣ to appear on the river. Tumboli checked, and Foxen fired 180,000. Tumboli tanked for a while before making the call.

Foxen began to sheepishly turn over his cards, at which point Tumboli knew he was good and revealed A♦10♠8♠3♦ for top two pair.

Karlsson Shows Seiver's Hand

Action was picked up on the river, with a board reading 4♣10♥4♥4♦8♦. Scott Seiver was in the cutoff, and had bet 200,000 into around 375,000, putting small blind Alfred Karlsson deep in the tank. Seiver was all but all in, with just 10,000 behind, when Karlsson pondered what he could possibly have for value. "Honest answer, nines," replied Seiver.

"That's problematic," responded Karlsson. The clock was called on him, and he ended up sticking it in.

"Nice call," said Seiver, showing that he'd been counterfeit with A♠J♠10♣6♥. Karlsson showed the hand that Seiver had called out, as his fours full with A♣K♦9♣9♠ left Seiver with crumbs.

Sion Spikes the River to End Tran's Run

Long Tran raised to 55,000 from the cutoff with just 50,000 remaining in his stack. When it folded to Elior Sion in the big blind, he jammed to put Tran all in, and Tran called.

Elior Sion: Q♠Q♦8♠6♠

Tran was ahead with the bigger pair and stayed ahead on the 9♦5♣3♣ flop, although Sion picked up a straight draw. The 6♦ turn gave Sion a few more outs, and he found one of them on the 7♥ river as he improved to straight. Tran wished everyone good luck as he headed to the cashier's desk.

Alan Mehamed opened up the action from the hijack with a raise to 45,000. Alfred Karlsson potted to 150,000 on the button, before Xiaochuan Zhang four-bet potted it to 495,000. Mehamed got out of the way, but Karlsson put in the call. On a flop of 10♠6♦8♣ Zhang stuck in his remaining 60,000, and Karlsson snapped him off.

Karlsson had flopped the world with the nut straight, as well as top two for full house potential, leaving Zhang confined to runner-runner. The K♣ turn gave him three outs and a dream, but the 2♠ river sealed his fate.

Jonathan Ingalls had just doubled up to around 450,000 in the previous hand before he opened to 55,000 from the cutoff. Fahredin Mustafov potted it out of the small blind, and Ingalls jammed. Mustafov called with the covering stack.

Both players had aces, but Ingalls' were double-suited. The 3♦10♠8♣ flop gave both players a way to win the pot outright. The 4♣ turn didn't change anything, but the 7♦ on the river gave Mustafov a ten-high straight. The pot was sent to Mustafov, and Ingalls was out.

Goyal Squeezes Some Value Out of Rafael

Sean Rafael came in with a raise to 55,000 on the button, and Tarun Goyal called from the big blind.

Goyal check-called a bet of 70,000 from Rafael on the 3♣5♠K♥ flop.

The 6♦ turn went check-check for the 4♥ to come on the river. Goyal bet 75,000, and after a few moments, Rafael called. Goyal showed K♠K♣5♣2♥ for a rivered straight, which prompted Rafael to muck.
