Motte Doubles to Leave Tuominen Short

Joe Serock opened the action under the gun as he potted to 175,000. Fabien Motte flatted on the button, before Eemil Tuominen repotted from the small blind. Serock got out of the way, Motte shoved for not much more, and Tuominen called.

Hai Chu came in with a raise to 120,000 from the cutoff and only Joshua Ladines called from the button.

Chu started out with a check on the 772 flop, which allowed Ladines to bet 120,000. Chu slid in the call.

The 5 turn saw Chu check for a second time. Ladines placed out a bigger bet of 450,000, prompting a swift fold from Chu.

Elior Sion had not shown up for Day 3 and his chips were forced all-in from the big blind for his last 40,000. Ryan Leng raised the button, and Joshua Ladines called from the small blind.

Ladines check-called a bet of 350,000 from Leng on the JA10 flop. The 10 turn checked through for the 2 to appear on the river. Ladines bet 400,000 and Leng folded. Sion’s cards were already in the muck from before the flop, and Ladines showed a straight with KQ as the pot was pushed to him.

Sion was out in 19th place, and the remaining players were now redrawing for seats.

Alan Mehamed Misses Redraw

Big blind Elior Sion did not turn up for Day 3, meaning his big blind was dead money in the pot. On a flop of 4Q7 Leng bet out for 240,000, and Mehamed called all in.

Both players checked the 3K8 flop to see the 5 roll off on the turn. Ausmus led out for 260,000, which Motte called.

The 6 dropped on the river, and Ausmus led out again, this time for 225,000. Motte called, and then mucked when Ausmus revealed two pair with KJ98.
