Zack Shows Down Trips

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Brad Albrinck opened the action with a raise to 120,000 from the cutoff. Both Eemil Tuominen on the button and Daniel Zack in the big blind stuck in the call.

Action checked through on the QAA flop, 6 turn, and the J river, too. Tuominen seemed to think he had the winner, but Zack tabled A1098 forcing the other two players to muck.

Ausmus Gets Value from Motte

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Fabien Motte raised to 100,000 from the cutoff and only Jeremy Ausmus called from the big blind.

Both players checked the 3K8 flop to see the 5 roll off on the turn. Ausmus led out for 260,000, which Motte called.

The 6 dropped on the river, and Ausmus led out again, this time for 225,000. Motte called, and then mucked when Ausmus revealed two pair with KJ98.

Alan Mehamed Misses Redraw

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Ryan Leng open-potted it to 140,000 from the cutoff. Alan Mehamed made the call on the button, and Joshua Ladines did the same from the small blind. Big blind Elior Sion did not turn up for Day 3, meaning his big blind was dead money in the pot. On a flop of 4Q7 Leng bet out for 240,000, and Mehamed called all in.

Alan Mehamed: 10652 All in
Ryan Leng: AKQ4

Mehamed was drawing slim with an open-ender, and the 7J runout confirmed his elimination as his opponent had two pair.

Sion Didn't Show Up Today

Elior Sion Empty Seat
Elior Sion Empty Seat

Elior Sion had not shown up for Day 3 and his chips were forced all-in from the big blind for his last 40,000. Ryan Leng raised the button, and Joshua Ladines called from the small blind.

Ladines check-called a bet of 350,000 from Leng on the JA10 flop. The 10 turn checked through for the 2 to appear on the river. Ladines bet 400,000 and Leng folded. Sion’s cards were already in the muck from before the flop, and Ladines showed a straight with KQ as the pot was pushed to him.

Sion was out in 19th place, and the remaining players were now redrawing for seats.
