Rodriguez Rises

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Jose Rodriguez Zurita
Jose Rodriguez Zurita

John O'Neal raised to 120,000 in early position. Jose Rodriguez Zurita called in the small blind, and Bradley Guan followed suit in the big blind. It checked to O'Neal on the J67 flop. He continued for 200,000, seeing Rodriguez call before Guan folded.

O'Neal sized up to 550,000 on the J turn. Rodriguez called again, and did once again when O'Neal piled in 1,750,000 on the 9 river.

O'Neal confidently tabled AJ for the best trips, but Rodriguez had better as his 77 gave him a full house to rake in the big pot.

Stembera Blinks First Against Soika

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Michael Stembera opened to 125,000 from the cutoff and just behind him, Ihar Soika three-bet to 330,000 on the button. Action folded back to Stembera, who announced a four-bet to 1,000,000 total.

Soika eyed Stembera's stack and tanked a bit before moving all in. Stembera counted out his remaining 1,300,000 and tanked a while before sending his cards into the muck — awarding a nice pot to Soika without a showdown.

Liu Exerts Big-Stack Pressure on Fei

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Lauri Saaskilahti raised to 120,000 in early position before Zhao Liu three-bet to 285,000 in middle position. Wesley Fei then four-bet to 650,000 in the big blind.

Saaskilahti folded, but Liu then came back with a five-bet to 1,450,000. Fei tanked for a few minutes before folding, and Liu allowed him to choose one of his cards. Fei picked the one on the right, and Liu turned over the A.

"You picked the right one," Ali Ayub told Fei.

Fei told Liu he folded two queens. "You didn't have queens. You're always bluffing," Liu said.

"He had ace-king, but because it wasn't suited he folded. He likes the suited ace-king," Ayub added.

Song Has Kicker Problems

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

On a board of 867J, Kyle Mart got all in for around 900,000 from the big blind, and Daewoong Song was looking to send him to the rail from the button.

Kyle Mart: KJ All in
Daewoong Song: QJ

Both players had turned top pair, but Mart's superior kicker had him poised to double up.

Song needed a queen on the river to send Mart home, but the 3 was no help, and Mart dragged in the pot worth more than three million.

"Clock! Clock! Clock!"

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Fabio Porcino
Fabio Porcino

Daniel Hachem raised to 120,000 from middle position and Fabio Porcino three-bet to 190,000 from the next seat, leaving himself with just one big blind behind.

When the action got back to Hachem, he jammed, and the decision was back on Porcino. With only a couple of eliminations separating him from the next pay jump, Porcino's eyes repeatedly drifted toward the tournament clock, hoping a few would bust elsewhere.

Eventually, Hachem called the clock. Before the floor staff had even made it to the table, Porcino reached for chips and made the call.

Fabio Porcino: AJ All in
Daniel Hachem: 1010

Porcino was out of his seat almost immediately, hugging a friend on the rail before the dealer had dealt a single card.

It seemed to help, as the flop came 5A3, propelling Porcino into the lead with top pair.

The 9 turn and J river improved him to two pair, earning him the double-up and keeping his Main Event hopes alive.

As Porcino returned to his seat, directly to Hachem's left, he repeatedly shouted, "Clock! Clock! Clock!" before slamming his palm down on the table twice with all his might.

Hachem calmly said to him, "Now you don't have to tank so much, just a little less."

Galiana Pays Joshi Off

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Antonio Galiana opened to 120,000 from the cutoff and was called by Sachin Joshi in the big blind.

Joshi check-called a 130,000 bet from Galiana on the J92 flop and then both players checked on the K turn.

Galiana then called a 145,000 bet from Joshi on the 3 river and Joshi showed J7 for second pair. Galiana quickly mucked his hand and Joshi padded his stack with his thin value bet.
