Vamerdino Magsakay raised from under the gun to 16,000, Marc-Andre Yelle three-bet to 140,000, leaving one 1,000 chip behind. Samuel Levine four-bet all in for 147,000. Magsakay folded, and the clock was called on Yelle, who had thirty seconds to act. Yelle called.

Two places away from the money, Aristidis Fotopoulos in the big blind raised all in and was called by John Monnette in middle position.

Monnette flopped top pair on 8♠5♣A♠, but Fotopoulos still had a flush draw. The Q♦4♥ runout however changed nothing and Fotopoulos was eliminated.
With now 257 remaining players for 255 places in the money, the clock was stopped to start the hand for hand procedure.
With all the players at the table cheering for him, Pierce O'Donnell in the big blind was all-in and at risk for 4,000 against Blake Scherschel in the small blind.

Scherschel flopped a pair on A♣5♣6♦, but O'Donnell hit the K♦ turn to be back in the lead. The 8♠ river changed nothing and O'Donnell doubled up to 8,000. He put half of his stack in the small blind in the next hand.

Brent Li raised to 13,000 from early position and Nicolas Yunis three-bet to 30,000 from the cutoff. Action then folded to Li and he made the call. Both players decided to check on a flop of 4♦K♣J♦. Li led for 40,000 on the 9♥ turn which got a quick fold from Yunis.
After Tomasz Brzezinski opened to 12,000 from middle position, Zi Long Zhang moved all in for 26,000 from the hijack, announcing, “twenty-six thousand.”
Several players asked for a count, trying to buy some extra time before ultimately folding. Brzezinski, however, made the call.

Linyang Song moved all in from under the gun to 35,000, and Sarah Lee called from the button.

One of the other players stated, "Now you can breathe," as it is getting close to the bubble.
