John Racener opened from middle position with A♥J♦. The bet was 400,000, and chip leader Naseem Salem defended his big blind with K♠8♠.
He then checked his top pair on K♥5♣9♥ and Racener continued for 300,000. A check-raise to 900,000 from Salem saw Racener relinquish his cards to the dealer.
Naseem Salem opened K♣4♣ under the gun, only to see two players at the final table look him up; Chad Lipton on the button with K♠J♠ and Joey Weissman in the big blind, set mining with red threes.
Lipton flopped Broadway, good for the stone cold nuts, as Salem bet out for 400,000 on A♥Q♦10♣. Despite having position, Lipton opted to raise to 1,000,000, but it brought a quick fold from both opponents.
Joey Weissman opened A♦10♥ to 1,000,000 from middle position, leaving 310,000 behind. All other players folded.
The very next hand, he opened A♣Q♣ to 400,000, and got a call from Chad Lipton in the big blind, who was holding 7♦6♦. Both players flopped a pair on A♥10♥6♥, but a continuation-bet of 300,000 from Weissman when checked to was enough to take the pot down.
For a third time in a row, Weissman opened the action, this time with a raise to 400,000 under the gun holding A♥K♥. Chad Lipton three-bet to 900,000 from the small blind, allowing Weissman to shovel the rest of his chips into the middle. Lipton made the disciplined lay down.

Roman Hrabec opened red sixes from early position to 300,000. Naseem Salem flatted A♠Q♠ from the small blind, and Chris Brewer did the same from the big, holding Q♦J♠.
Brewer then flopped best on 7♥J♦5♣ and action checked through. The 9♦ turn checked to Brewer, who threw out 400,000 into the middle. It was enough to get a fold from both opponents.
Roman Hrabec opened to 350,000 from middle position holding K♠Q♣. Cliff Josephy made the call in the cutoff with A♣J♦ and the two went off to a flop.
Both caught a piece on 2♣J♥10♦ and Hrabec continued for 400,000 with his open-ender. Josephy was going nowhere, and he called to see the 10♠ turn. Action went check-check, and Hrabec checked once again on the 8♣ river. A bet of 400,000 from Josephy folded his opponent out.
Chris Brewer opened black sevens to 300,000 from the cutoff. John Racener defended his big with A♦6♥
Brewer flopped the nuts on 7♦4♦2♣ and he didn't attempt to slowplay with a bet of 225,000 when checked to. Racener called, and the Q♠ was put out on the turn. Racener checked for a second time, and Brewer went large, opting for a bet of 900,000. Racener thought for a period, before making the right fold.
Alexis Cruz Martinez opened with a raise to 300,000 from middle position. Alexander James then woke up with a hand in the small blind, and ripped just more than 7,000,000. Big blind Hrabec, who covered him, made the fold, and Cruz Martinez called to put himself at risk.
