Dylan Smith opened to 120,000 on the button and Timothy Wong called in the small blind.
Both players drew one.
Wong then lead for 175,000. After a small tank, Smith flicked in the call. Wong made a huge hand as he tabled 8x7x5x3x2x for the winner as he dragged another pot to start the day.
Dylan Smith limped from under the gun and, Anthony Lamps limped from the cutoff, Gabriel Paul called from the small blind and Stephen Hubbard checked his option in the big blind for a four-way pot.
Paul drew three, Hubbard drew four, Smith drew one and Lamps stood pat.
It was then checked to Smith, who bet 330,000. Lamps called and the other two players got out of the way.
"Eighty-six," Smith announced as he tabled 8x6x4x3x2x as advertised.
Lamps couldn't beat it and sent his hand into the muck.
Another mixed game bracelet is set to be awarded today at the 2026 World Series of Poker for Event #12: $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw. From the 626 players who tried their luck, just six players remain in contention for the WSOP gold bracelet and the first-place prize of $155,819. They return to action at 1 p.m. today at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
Unlike many of the mixed games final tables at the WSOP, all six of the returning players are searching for their first bracelet. Despite a lack of WSOP hardware among the final six, an incredibly talented group will battle it out this afternoon in what promises to be a thrilling affair.
Leading the pack into Day 3 is Utah native Stephen Hubbard. Primarily known for his Pot-Limit-Omaha prowess, Hubbard is making his second final table appearance of the summer already. He held the lead for much of Day 2 with his fearless play and finished the night with 4,955,000.
Stephen Hubbard
He is followed on the leaderboard by Gabriel Paul (3,330,000), who won a massive pot against Chris Brewer early in Day 2 to catapult himself up the counts, and he never looked back on his way to the final table.
Rounding out the podium in third is Dylan Smith (2,890,000). He has enjoyed success in all poker formats in recent years, but he is still in search of his first bracelet after losing heads-up on two occasions: one online and one live just last year.
Dylan Smith
The bottom half of the returning crew includes Anthony Lamps (1,915,000), Philip Jaffe (1,345,000), and Timothy Wong (1,285,000), who benefited massively from a bluff by eighth-place finisher David "ODB" Baker. Wong was all-in three-ways for his last five big blinds with 13 players remaining, but Baker bluffed into a side pot, ultimately resulting in the main pot being sent to Wong. He will look to parlay his luck all the way to the title.
