Ren Lin raised from the hijack to 27,000, with Ryan Hoenig calling on the button and Alex Foxen calling from the big blind.
Foxen drew two, while Lin and Hoenig took one.
Foxen took some time before going for a bet of 200,000. Lin folded, although Hoenig shoved with a few more chips than Foxen.
Foxen called and both players tabled the same hand with 8x5x4x3x2x, chopping the chips of Lin.
Dan Shak raised to 30,000 under the gun and John Monnette called in the hijack. Phil Hellmuth also came along from the big blind.
Hellmuth and Monnette drew one, while Shak stood pat. Hellmuth then led out for 50,000, and Shak raised to 400,000.
Monnette folded, while Hellmuth flashed a 9-7 as he mucked. Shak showed an 8-7.
"You raised with just an eight?" Hellmuth asked him.
"You're really asking me if I raised with just an eight. Make sure that makes the blog. That I raised with just an eight," Shak replied.

Alex Foxen and Andrew Sellergren built a pot of around 150,000 as they went heads-up to the draw.
Both players stood pat, and Sellergren then led out for 25,000 from the cutoff. Foxen moved all in, having Sellergren's remaining 180,000 covered, and Sellergren quickly folded.
Per Hildebrand raised under the gun to 20,000 and Daniel Negreanu shoved the hijack for around 107,000. Hildebrand called and drew one, while Negreanu stood pat.

Hildebrand caught a 9x to win the hand and eliminate Negreanu, as it went down to the fifth card in each player's holdings.
Robert French raised to 20,000 in middle position and Jason Daly called in the hijack. John Cynn then moved all in for 155,000 from the small blind, and both opponents folded.
The next hand, Daly opened to 25,000 in middle position and Cynn shoved again, this time for 220,000 on the button. Daly called and stood pat, while Cynn drew one.

Cynn needed to improve against Daly's 10-9, and he caught a 5x on his last card to make an 8-6 and earn the double up.
Ryan Hoenig and Alex Foxen went heads-up after the draw when Foxen led out for 20,000 from the small blind. Hoenig then raised to 158,000 in the hijack.
Foxen called, and Hoenig showed 8x6x5x3x2x to win the pot.
At the same time on another table, Daniel Weinman had bet 65,000 from the big blind and Jason Daly then raised to 250,000 on the button. Weinman also called, then mucked when Daly showed 8x7x4x3x2x.
With around 130,000 in the pot, Dara Taherpour drew one from the hijack and Naoya Kihara drew one on the button.
Taherpour bet out for 25,000, and Kihara put him all in for his remaining 130,000 or so. Taherpour called and was shown 8x6x4x3x2x for an 8-6 by Kihara. Taherpour tossed his cards to the muck, indicating Kihara's hand was best and he headed for the exit.
Ryutaro Suzuki raised to 30,000 on the button, Ben Yu moved all in for 252,000 in the big blind, and Suzuki called. Both players drew one.
