Action was picked up on the river with a board of J♥8♦8♥Q♥8♠. Matthew Miller was in a long think tank in the hijack position, as he faced a big river bet from Daniel Fuhs of 1,200,000 into a pot of about 4,000,000. The table was very patient awaiting Miller's decision.

Suddenly, Miller exclaimed, "Fuck it," threw the chips into the pot, and announced, "Flush."

Fuhs stated calmly, "A flush is good, I thought I could get you to fold," and "Most people with Miller in their name fold in that spot," jokingly.

Fuhs turned over 10♠9♠, and Miller held K♥9♥ for the flush and the win.
