Ryuta Nakai opened to 12,000 on the button and promptly faced a three-bet as Chance Kornuth moved all in for 76,000 in the small blind. Turbo Nguyen then four-bet shoved from the big blind for 189,500, which forced Nakai out of the hand.

Kornuth picked up some chop outs on the 3♦10♣10♠ flop, but it was all over on the K♥ turn.

The 9♦ completed the board, and Kornuth was eliminated, for that bullet at least. He rejoined the tournament immediately and sat down at another table with a fresh stack.

The deck favoured Pan on this occasion, as the 9♣A♦8♥ flop saw him harness the lead.

Given the opportunity, McGowan continued for 9,000 on the Q♣2♠K♠ flop, which Berg called before Rezaei folded.

That was the last action the hand would see, as both the 9♠ turn and the 3♥ river checked through.

Berg tabled Q♦10♦ to claim the pot, and McGowan mucked his hand.

The dealer spread a monotone K♠7♠2♠ flop, which saw plenty of betting. After Ponakovs checked, Nguyen continued for 4,000. Ponakovs then raised to 11,000, before calling when Nguyen three-bet to 27,000.

Ponakovs check-called a bet of 24,000 when the 5♠ added a fourth spade to the board, before both players checked on the 3♥ river.

Ponakovs tabled J♠9♥ for a jack-high flush, which was confirmed as the winning hand when Nguyen mucked his cards.
